The Skincare Routine That Survived My Bachelorette
For my bachelorette, I wanted a routine that was simple, effective, and totally foolproof - something I could rely on between coffee runs, ocean swims, and maybe (definitely) a few tequila shots. The goal was to keep my skin calm, hydrated, and happy all weekend long without overthinking it.
My base lineup was honestly perfect. I started with the Torriden Gel Cleanser, which I grabbed at Sephora last minute and it ended up being my holy grail of the trip. It melted off every trace of makeup - sunscreen, setting spray, etc - without leaving my skin dry or tight.
Then I went it with the Sarah Creal Moisture Source Bi-Phase Brightening Essence - it completely revitalizes the skin and provided an instant dewy glow. I locked it all in with Dew or Dry Moisturizer (my forever go-to) and topped it with SPF, because Cabo sun. I alternated between the Beauty of Joseon SPF and the Merit Tinted Sunscreen when I wanted a touch of coverage that still felt skin-first.
And of course, Sunkiss Desert Butter Balm came everywhere with me - pool bag, beach bag, clutch - she was the weekend MVP!
The best part was that I came home with incredible skin. I went into the weekend stressed and dealing with forehead breakouts, and somehow left Cabo with glowy, calm skin and zero new breakouts (plus a few too many good memories).
Sometimes the best skincare routines are the simplest ones - the ones that let you live your life, dance all night, and still wake up with hydrated skin.
